Ok. Was watching the prime time news last night...(dont know why it's even considered prime time....must be the advertisers...anyway)

Apparently TV3 has ran out of news to be reported.
Yes. i watch mainstream media too. I read mainstream media too (The Star).
For valid reasons.
Although some quarters (mostly anti - government) called for a boycott of these Pro-government bodies, i think it's fair to have a look at it, to see and hear their POV.

So last night, apparently, TV3 ran out of "report worthy" stuff.
headline :
Teresa Kok's meal when she was detained under the ISA. Aiiyah. Nothing else to report ka...?
Cue :
1. newscaster gives a gist....of what's happening...the inside look on what she was served , during her detainment....
2. Teresa Kok gave her "explanation" on what's being said...."media misinterpreted me" she said.....
3. newscaster again, saying : "this is a snippet from what teresa Kok said last week".....in which, from my POV , the Media didnt misinterpret her at all....

Come on Teresa...please dont exaggerate....makes you look bad.

Wouldnt wanna queue up just to get the console type, mind you. I'm not that nuts. But it made my wonder. What would make you (or me) queue up overnight for stuff?
Last time, it was the Hello Kitties from McDonalds....then the Harry Potter books...once, when i was working at Phileo Damansara, people were queuing at The Star Tower, for free tickets to go watch Deathnote....now this PS3 lineup.

Only valid reason to get the PS3: Metal gear Solid 4.
Only Valid Reason to get the XBox360 : Halo 4 / Halo Wars .

I think it's time them Superpoke developers touch Malaysia under their "Global Pokes" tab. Right?

Facebook changed their layout.My opinion?

Me likey. Looks neat. Less clutter. Easier to load up people's pages (although they have a gazillion applications added). In a word : Sleek.

Then recently i just noticed. People started ranting that they hated the new format. That it is a turn for the worse. That the new look sucks.Well, i guess you're entitled with your opinion.
If not, then i wont be able to write freely, yeh?
Well...define "freedom of speech (or writing, in that matter) with the recent ISA arrests in Malaysia. Ah well. that's a different story.

Anyway. back to the haters of the new Facebook layout.

Even opened up groups entitled " Get ten million people who hates the new Facebook account here!" or "Get Facebook back to the old format!" . And apparently people are joining it by the droves.

My take is this; if you dont like it, leave it!


and i even put it up as my stat message as
"Kenn thinks that those people who find the new Facebook layout sucks should just learn to like it, or just simply...leave it. why the fuss?"

(Lets see how many hate mail i get, or even better, so called "friends" who delete me from their list as a repercussion of my two liner there).

Right. The recent detainment (and subsequent release) of several individuals recently. My take : i trust i wont kena ISA for this. then again, it's just an honest opinion.

LOL. anyway, folowing day news, shows "peaceful protesters" holding out a candlelight vigil in front of some police station (didnt catch the details, cuz i was busy being awed in the ridiculousness of the action...the candlelight vigil, not the detainment.

What are they trying to prove? These candlelight vigil attendees, i mean.Heck yeah, i too disagree with the Government. And i find the recent local scene is full of dirt.

I mean, why risk yourself, in pretense of showing support, while jeopardizing your safety and such,by sitting on the floor trying to balance the dripping candle wax?
Lets see la kan...if the police suddenly deem your little peaceful demo getting a tad too aggressive

I saw the other day, a Chinese dude, with "Zenden" as his English name. Next What? "Adebayor Chong?" . Singer "Fish Leong" (whatthefuck???!), and even, i heard of the most ludicrous name a person can think of "Lucifer". No kidding. "Lucifer Tan" in one television interview.

Yet again, in his press conference, responding to the decision,he still remained defiant that what he did was not wrong...?!!!

I know la , upholding your pride when the going gets tough, but from what i saw last night, this guy just spitted to the sky. Apa, orang Bukit bendera are all malays ka? Does he not accept that Non-Malays also play a part in ensuring UMNO's position in the local political scene for the past 51 years? Sheer arrogance, and lack of IQ this dude. Then again, good that he wont be around for the next 3 years or so....

We could do with lesser idiots roaming around shouting crap. 3 years is not long, some may say. Anwar returns to Parliament after a ten year hiatus. But this is Anwar Ibrahim . Former Deputy Prime Minister, and also former Finance Minister.
